Job Function:
- Day Shift
- Mon - Fri, 4 x 10 hours.
- Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other oncology treatments, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, monitor symptoms, and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, side effects, symptom management, and at-home care strategies.
- Collaborate with oncologists, hematologists, pharmacists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Manage pain and symptom relief, including nausea, fatigue, and complications related to cancer treatments.
- Assist with bone marrow biopsies, blood transfusions, port access, and other specialized oncology procedures.
