7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 12-hour night shifts, with a 48-hour guarantee.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide essential patient care services in a Med Surg float capacity across various units, including Thompson, Farnum, and Kingsbury. The RN will effectively coordinate total nursing care for patients, engage in patient and family education, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to uphold professional nursing standards.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate total nursing care for assigned patients.
- Engage in patient and family education.
- Provide leadership and work cooperatively with nursing and ancillary staff.
- Maintain professional nursing practice standards in a clinical setting.
- Float between assigned Med Surg units as needed.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg experience.
- Experience with Epic EMR.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Must have ability to work in a stepdown unit as needed, including experience with cardiac drips.
- Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications.
- New Hampshire RN license required.
- Must have a personal vehicle for commute.
