- Provide inpatient float-pool coverage across Moffitt Cancer Center Campus and Moffitt McKinley Campus when regular staff are unavailable
- Use the nursing process to assess, plan, manage, and evaluate quality care for cancer patients and families
- Address biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care, educational, and discharge-planning needs
- Maintain timely baseline and comparative documentation with age-appropriate consideration
- Integrate patient- and family-centered care and quality caring factors into practice
- Identify, document, and provide patient education based on patient learning needs
- Participate in evidence-based improvement activities related to the area of practice
- Participate in professional development aligned with nursing standards, regulatory requirements, and job expectations
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in an ICU setting preferred for the ideal candidate
- Acute care experience
- Oncology experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Science of Nursing, or Associate's degree in Nursing plus 1 year of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the State of Florida, or valid multi-state privilege to practice in Florida
- If licensed in another eNLC compact state with multi-state privileges, must declare Florida as primary state of residence within 60 days of hire
- Master's degree preferred
