Field Case Manager – Northern Virginia
As a Field Case Manager, you will work face‑to‑face with injured workers and medical providers to coordinate care, facilitate recovery, and promote timely return‑to‑work. The role requires frequent travel within the Northern Virginia region and maintenance of a home‑based office. Candidates must live in the specified area and hold an active RN licence.
Location
Northern Virginia region: Fairfax/Chantilly, Washington, DC and surrounding areas.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licence required.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- High‑speed internet access.
- Minimum 1.5 years of field case management, preferably in workers’ compensation.
- Strong communication, advocacy, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Good hearing, vision, and speaking ability.
- Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check may be required.
- Ready to travel as required.
Responsibilities
- Act as patient advocate and coordinate care for injured workers, families, and caregivers throughout the recovery process.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between workers, medical providers, and reimbursement sources.
- Identify and recommend appropriate providers and facilities, ensuring timely and cost‑effective service use.
- Provide education, resources, and service facilitation to support recovery and autonomy.
- Advocate for effective and efficient medical treatment in a non‑traditional setting.
Benefits & Compensation
Competitive starting salary ranging from $83,000–$90,000 with quarterly bonus eligibility. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with 50% match up to 6% of contributions, 4 weeks paid time off in the first full year, tuition reimbursement, and other standard benefits.
