Role Overview:
This position involves providing high-quality, direct patient care in a technically complex Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to deliver top-of-scope care, prioritizing patient safety and evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Model proficiency through precepting and support ongoing learning for new healthcare professionals.
- Participate in a comprehensive four-phase Critical Care Fellowship, including simulation, adult learning, and competency validation.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe, secure, and high-quality clinical environment.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program or approved by the state board if less than three years of experience.
- Current RN licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of six months nursing experience.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills.
