Responsibilities & Requirements
- The Registered Nurse (RN) EWC delivers patient-centered nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- This role ensures the safety, quality, and continuity of care for patients across diverse clinical settings, supporting optimal patient outcomes and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- All job responsibilities are to be carried out in alignment with Kettering Health's mission, vision, values, and B Safe program.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing).
- None required; clinical experience during nursing program accepted.
- Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- One year of clinical nursing experience in an acute care or relevant specialty setting.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or specialty certification applicable to clinical area.
