Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Nurse to join our trauma team. The facility is a Level 4 trauma center, with a focus on critical care for a variety of patient diagnoses, including but not limited to chest pain, abdominal pain, and respiratory distress. The nurse will be responsible for providing top-quality care in an efficient ER setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the emergency department.
• Conduct patient triage and assessments at the bedside.
• Administer medications and titrate critical drips including norepinephrine, propofol, and others.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including ED physicians and mid-level practitioners.
• Monitor and document patient progress using electronic health records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience.
• Current certifications in ACLS, PALS, and BLS are required.
• TNCC and NIHSS certifications are preferred.
• Must have state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
