Job Description
- Provides direct and indirect patient care in the emergency care setting.
- Demonstrates initiative, flexibility and responsibility reflective of professional expectations with minimal supervision.
- Triages patients safely, rapidly and accurately upon entry to the emergency care system.
- Determines priorities of care based on physical and psychosocial needs, as well as factors influencing patient flow.
- Communicates with Emergency Department physicians regarding changes in patient status, symptomatology and diagnostic study results.
- Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or treatment response.
- Compensation: $33.00 - $45.00 hourly.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Indiana registered nurse licensure.
- Current BCLS, ACLS and PALS certification.
- Experience with TNCC within 2nd year.
- Successful completion of arrhythmia course.
- Basic computer knowledge.
