RN ER - Walsenburg, CO | $80 - $107

Jogan Health is looking for Emergency Room RN for a 13‑week assignment in Walsenburg, Colorado.

Pay Local: $107/hr

Travel Pay W/O Per Diem: $90/hr + Travel Stipend + Lodging provided or $700 a week lodging stipend

Travel Pay with Per Diem: $80/hr + Travel Stipend + Lodging

Estimated Hours: 36 hours weekly

Schedules: 8 hour night shifts

Contract Type: 13 week contract

Responsibilities

• ER Nurse to provide care in emergency room and other critical care settings.
• Quickly assess conditions and stabilize patients in life‑threatening emergencies such as strokes, heart attacks or severe injuries.
• Triage cases in order of urgency and need.
• Administer medication as instructed by physicians.
• Start intravenous lines, intubations, patient stitches and sutures as directed.
• Create and maintain incoming patient records. Work closely with team of emergency staff to help patients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardio Life Support Certification)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification)
• TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course certification)
• Active Colorado RN license or Compact License required.
• Three years of previous work experience as an RN is required. Previous emergency room work experience is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional multitasking and time‑management skills.
• Ability to work closely with a team and patients.
• Willingness to continually learn the latest advancements in emergency medicine.
• Ability to place intravenous lines, set bones and perform other emergency medical tasks quickly and efficiently.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
