Job Description:
Join our team as a travel Emergency Department RN in Two Rivers, Wisconsin, and experience what it’s like to work in a fast-paced Level IV trauma center. Expect to perform skills such as IV starts, EKGs, cardiac rhythm interpretation, chest tubes, and medication drips, all within a unit that frequently utilizes hallway beds in its 12-bed ED. Staffing includes a team of RNs, a paramedic, a support staff that handles phlebotomy, and support from RTs and hospitalists on-site 24/7. Experience working in a General ED setting with ASLCS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications will prepare you to excel in this environment. The assignment begins with a brief orientation shift to familiarize you with unit flow, and while there’s no floating requirement or on-call duties, the schedule includes every other weekend rotations and flexibility around time-off requests, considering staffing needs. Enjoy working with advanced equipment like Epic, GE monitors, and Pyxis in a collaborative setting designed to support your professional growth.
