Description:We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Emergency Room.The position involves working with patients of all age groups.Candidates must be proficient in EPIC charting.This role requires managing multiple patients with a typical ratio of 4:1.The department is a primary stroke center.Candidates must be comfortable administering thrombolytics for strokes and STEMIs.Nursing staff will have support from ER technicians for tasks such as starting IVs and drawing labs.Collaboration with respiratory services, radiology, and unit secretaries is essential.Applicants should have experience with arterial line management, blood product administration, and care of ventilated patients.Responsibilities include interpreting arterial blood gases and dysrhythmias.Special equipment includes Phillips monitors, Level 1 infusers, and ultrasound machines for IVs.This position calls for strong skills in triage and emergency management.The work environment is fast-paced, with a focus on patient care across various diagnoses.Candidates should be prepared to float within scope if required.
