Description:34-bed emergency department providing care for patients of all ages and diagnoses.The department is a basic level 3 semi/stroke receiving center with a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio.Responsible for the assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care.Includes direct patient care, patient and family education, and transitions of care in an acute setting.Delivers holistic and individualized care to all patients in the assigned area.Demonstrated skills in managing patients with various conditions including respiratory issues, trauma, and acute illnesses.Experience in administering emergency medications and performing critical procedures as needed.Ability to interpret vital signs and manage care for complex medical cases.Capable of working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Experience in providing care for diverse patient populations.
