Description:2 years of experience in a hospital setting is required.Active Virginia nursing license is required at the time of application.BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications are required.The Emergency Department has 50 cardiac monitored beds and an 8-bed Rapid Treatment Area.The unit is staffed by a total of 120 personnel.Patient ratios are 4:1.Experience with GE cardiac monitoring equipment and EMR Meditech is preferred.Candidates must exhibit a positive attitude and be teamwork-oriented and flexible.Weekend availability is required, but there is no on-call duty.
