Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room provides optimal patient care through the nursing process, ensuring individualized patient outcomes across the entire episode of care. The RN offers comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, including their families and caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments, formulate care plans, implement interventions, and evaluate patient outcomes.
• Coordinate care and collaborate with healthcare professionals as needed.
• Diagnose and treat human responses to health problems with a focus on quality standards.
• Engage with patients and families to incorporate them into the assessment and care process.
• Adapt to a fast-paced and demanding environment with a high volume of patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current NV RN license required prior to start.
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience.
• Prior travel experience of one 13-week assignment is required.
• AHA BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and ENPC or PALS certifications are required.
