Description:The position requires 3 twelve-hour shifts per week from 12:00 to 00:00.You may be asked to float to sister locations as needed.Candidates must be available for on-call, holiday, hurricane, and float requirements.Documentation will be performed using an electronic system.The emergency department handles a wide variety of patient diagnoses.Daily census averages 142 visits.Candidates must have experience managing critical situations like drug overdoses, trauma cases, and acute psychosis.You will work with interdisciplinary support from various departments.This position is ideal for those seeking to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.Candidates should be familiar with special equipment used in emergencies.You will be expected to perform procedures such as intubation, chest tube management, and wound care.Teamwork and effective communication skills are essential for success in this role.The job is suitable for individuals who thrive under pressure and are committed to providing quality patient care.Adherence to safety protocols and infection control measures is mandatory.This role may include interaction with patients across all age groups, from neonates to geriatrics.
