Onsite Full Time Bio & Pharmacology & Health

Job Description

This travel assignment places you in a hospital setting in Montevideo, Minnesota, where you’ll be working in a specialized unit focused on cardiac conditions like MIs and CVAs. The role involves a 12-hour rotating shift schedule, including every third weekend, with an expected commitment of 36 hours per week over a 13-week period. The unit sees fewer than 300 patients per month and is staffed with a single nurse, offering a more intimate work environment. You will manage IV pumps, cardiac monitors, and work alongside a diverse patient population, including Latinos and Micronesians. The position requires familiarity with PALS or TNCC certifications and knowledge of Nihon Kohden cardiac monitors, with no security or locked rooms to navigate, but the hospital is capable of lockdown if needed. This assignment offers a chance to gain experience in a unique, culturally rich environment while working with a variety of cardiac-related cases.
