The registered nurse assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and supervises individual patient care using the nursing process. This role requires accepting responsibility for the direction of co‑workers and delegation of tasks in the implementation of care, all while adhering to established policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for each patient according to the nursing process.
  • Provide patient and family education throughout the admission and discharge process.
  • Document the nursing process accurately and legibly.
  • Notify physician of pertinent observations and changes in patient status.
  • Administer medications and perform treatments safely and accurately.
  • Implement physician orders as written and ensure the availability of required equipment and supplies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • Associate degree in nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
  • CPR certification required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; critical thinking and organizational skills.

Schedule

This position requires a schedule from 7AM to 7PM.
