Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our fast-paced rural emergency department. The nurse will provide comprehensive care to patients in a dynamic environment and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency care and interventions to patients in a timely manner.
- Assess patient conditions and monitor vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document all patient interactions and care provided in electronic medical records (Cerner preferred).
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Current RN licensure in Indiana.
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience in an Emergency Department.
- De-escalation training is required.
Contract & local rates may vary based on location and applicant residency.
