Nights - 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts, plus 2 call shifts. Holidays and on-call duties will be required.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department at a new critical access hospital. The RN will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and coordinating patient care from admission to discharge while adhering to the accepted standards and protocols, including Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS).

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in the Emergency Department.
• Utilize clinical pathways to achieve positive patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Experience in a Critical Access Hospital (CAH) is preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of Colorado.
• ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and ATLS certifications are required.
• Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) certification is a plus.
