Description: Position available in the Emergency Room. Shifts are from 19:00 to 07:30. Every other weekend and holiday are part of the schedule. The facility is a Level II trauma center. It has 38 beds and 8 behavioral health beds in the emergency department. Patient ratios are 1:4. First time travelers are accepted. Local candidates are not accepted; travelers must live at least 50 miles away. Pending license is accepted. The charting system used is Cerner. Previous charge experience is required, with a preference for 1 year of experience. Candidates should have experience with a patient ratio of 5. Preferred skills include management of various emergency conditions and nursing procedures. Daily patient visits range around 110. The unit supports interdisciplinary teams including respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, and social services. Candidates will float within the facility as needed. Compliance with patient care protocols is essential. Candidates must complete required certification prior to the start. Professional conduct is critically assessed, and any issues may result in termination of the contract.
