Job Description:

Join a busy emergency department at a Level III Trauma Center, where you’ll be the go-to nurse for acute care in an 11-bed unit with two critical care rooms. This role involves providing urgent, high-stakes care, including managing behavioral health safe rooms and working as part of a dedicated team that covers the entire floor. The position requires at least four years of emergency nursing experience in trauma centers from Level I to III, with certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC. Shifts are 12 hours, rotating between start times of 7:00 am, 11:00 am, or 7:00 pm, with a flexible weekend requirement and holiday shifts expected. You’ll be working with Epic electronic medical records and a team that primarily uses EMT-trained unit assistants. This assignment offers a dynamic environment where your expertise will truly make a difference.
