We are seeking an experienced Urgent Medsurg/ED Registered Nurse to provide high‑quality patient care across a variety of settings, including Medsurg (inpatient, observation, swing bed) and the Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for patients with common diagnoses including CHF, COPD, post‑op (ortho), pneumonia, UTI/AMS, and failure to thrive.
- Administer medications and monitor patient vital signs as required.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Utilize EMR (Athena) for documentation and patient care records.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years nursing experience in Medsurg and ED settings.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and AHA Procedural Sedation Module are required.
- Current RN license in the state of practice.
