Job Description
As an Emergency Room Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality care to patients in emergency situations. You will work collaboratively with the medical team to ensure effective and timely patient care, while adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions and provide emergency care as needed.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Participate in emergency response drills and training.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and follow-up care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 24 months Emergency Room experience with recent experience in the last 12 months.
- Active Colorado Registered Nurse License with no hits.
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS from approved vendors.
- Valid driver’s license to verify residency.
- Travel experience is highly preferred.
