Registered Nurse - Day Shift

This position offers a 12-hour day shift, from 06:30 to 18:30, working three days a week.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, particularly with various age groups, from neonates to geriatrics. This role requires the capacity to manage a daily census of 31 patients across 8 beds while working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients across multiple age groups.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as necessary.
• Maintain accurate patient records using the Community Hospital charting system.
• Engage in continuous IV sedation, triage, and telemetry responsibilities.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary support services, including physical therapy and pharmacy.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Current, valid Compact nursing license.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP.
