Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shifts 4x12 hours from 19:00 to 07:00, with weekdays, every other weekend, and holidays included.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency nursing, with the ability to provide critical care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess and triage patients in the emergency department.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Provide care for patients with a variety of emergency conditions.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor and document patient progress in the medical record.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency department setting.
• Current RN license (WV or compact license) required.
• Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS; CPI and TNCC preferred.
• Experience with Cerner EMR is required.
