The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department is responsible for providing high-quality care to patients of all ages experiencing emergencies. The nurse will work collaboratively within a team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department.
- Monitor patients' conditions and administer medications as required.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document all patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to departmental improvements.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Current RN license in the State of Tennessee.
- ACLS, BLS, NIH, and PALS certifications are required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an emergency room setting is preferred.
- Must pass the Tennessee Abuse Registry check prior to the start of assignment.
