The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) will provide critical care to patients in a fast-paced emergency department. The ideal candidate will possess strong nursing skills, particularly in emergency situations, and will be responsible for the assessment and treatment of patients presenting with a variety of conditions.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established standards and protocols.
- Assist in routine and emergency procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to facilitate optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor patient condition and respond appropriately to changes in status.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Must have an active Alaska RN license at the time of submission.
- Prior experience in an Emergency Department is required.
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH, ENPC.
- Stroke and STEMI experience preferred.
