What You’ll Do
- Provide general and specialized direct and indirect patient care.
- Perform accurate and complete admission assessments.
- Assess and document patient’s pain levels.
- Prioritize and document patient problems in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Monitor and document patient’s condition and care effectiveness.
- Evaluate, update, and revise plan of care.
- Delegate components of the nursing care plan to team members.
- Plan delivery of patient care in collaboration with other disciplines.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education
- Completion of a recognized course of study from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
Experience
- Minimum four years recent acute care experience in telemetry monitoring.
Licenses & Certifications
- Current state licensure as Registered Nurse (RN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
