Description:The unit consists of 4 rooms and is staffed by 10 personnel.The day shift includes 1 charge nurse, 4 RNs, and 2 Endoscopy Technicians.Night shift staff are on call, including 1 RN and 1 Technician.Patient ratios are 1:1 for procedures and 1:2 in PACU.Equipment utilized includes EMR and Meditech.
Typical procedures performed in this unit include:EGDColonoscopyERCPBronchoscopyIon Robot BronchEGD with Ultrasound
The ideal candidate will have an outgoing personality and be a team player.Floating areas may include PACU and Preop.On-call duties are required 1-2 days a week and 1 weekend per month.Unit guidelines and policies are available for review.
