Description:This position involves responsibilities in the GI lab, including administering conscious sedation and monitoring patients.Candidates should be proficient in airway management, including the use of various endoscopic equipment and supplies.Skills in starting and maintaining IVs are essential.Candidates will be expected to handle specimen labeling and recovery of conscious sedation.The role may require floating to sister facilities and will involve working with interdisciplinary support teams.Providers will be responsible for reporting any scheduling requests in advance of submission.Travelers may need to float between nearby facilities as required.Candidates must possess the capability to manage opioid analgesics in an inpatient setting.All administration of propofol and reversal agents will occur under supervision.Additional responsibilities include interpreting and managing dysrhythmias as necessary.Candidates should have experience with adult and geriatric patient populations.
