- Versatile, solid preoperative/Phase II recovery RN with good advanced airway management skills
- IV skills and experience managing 2-3 patients
- Proficient in postoperative care, airway management, procedural sedation, and cardiac rhythm interpretation
Description:This position requires an experienced RN to support gastrointestinal services.You will need to work with preoperative and postoperative patients undergoing procedures such as EGD, colonoscopy, EUS, ERCP, stone management, and GI bleeding.The average case load is 20-30 cases per day.You will manage patients typically recovering for 30-45 minutes before discharge home or transfer back to an inpatient room.There are no weekend or holiday requirements, and there will be no floating to other units.You must provide your own scrubs, with no specific color requirements.This role will involve working with an electronic medical record system.A charge nurse will be available for support during shifts.
