NOTE: This position will float between 2 EDs: Tucson Campus Level I Trauma and South Campus Level III.
Must have prior experience in a Level I Trauma Center; must have at minimum 2 years of recent ED RN experience, and experience in a 500+ bed hospital is preferred.
Must have prior travel experience.
Must have PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS.
Experience/Qualifications
* Active RN license and current AHA/ACLS certifications
* Minimum 2 years ER or high-acuity acute care nursing experience
* Ability to triage quickly and initiate evidence-based treatment plans
* Proficiency with electronic medical records and documentation standards
* Strong collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
* Demonstrated accountability for performance and productivity targets
* Excellent patient and family communication and education skills
* Commitment to ongoing professional development and clinical learning
* Ability to operate in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environmentWillingness to work on-site and support contract-based terms
