RN - Emergency Department

Position Overview

Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating the effectiveness of care delivered by team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care in a fast-paced Emergency Trauma Center.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including emergency medicine physicians and specialty resources.
• Support department initiatives such as trauma, stroke, burn care, pediatric emergency services, behavioral health, and SANE programs.
• Participate in specialized training programs to enhance skills in emergency care environments.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN licensure in Missouri or a valid temporary permit.
• Hospital-based experience required; emergency department experience preferred.
• Certifications in healthcare provider CPR, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, and TNCC or complete courses within specified timeframes.
