What You’ll Do
- Provide direct nursing care
- Implement and monitor patient care plans
- Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders
- Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs
- Maintain professional growth and development through ongoing education and clinical nursing study
Requirements
- Education
- Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing
- Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Experience
- External applicants: 2 years of recent related nursing experience
- Internal applicants: less than 2 years of experience, with post‑orientation/90‑day probationary period considered
- Licenses & Certifications
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required
- ACLS and PALS upon hire or within one year of hire
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) upon hire or within 24 months of hire
