PeaceHealth is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our highly skilled team in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. This full-time position offers variable start times of 1100, 1300 and 1500 , providing flexibility while supporting one of the most dynamic departments in healthcare.
Hiring bonus and relocation assistance may be available.
Pay Range: $45.78 - $82.98 per hour
Compensation is based on experience, education, training, applicable collective bargaining agreements, and other relevant factors.

What You'll Do
As an Emergency Department RN, you will provide expert clinical care while serving as a critical member of the interdisciplinary care team.
Responsibilities include:
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care needs
- Rapidly identifying and responding to emergent and life-threatening conditions
- Managing diverse patient populations, including cardiac, trauma, medical-surgical, and pediatric patients
- Collaborating with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes
- Documenting patient care accurately and in accordance with professional and organizational standards
- Delegating and directing care appropriately based on team member competencies
- Participating in quality, safety, and performance improvement initiatives
- Maintaining clinical excellence through continuing education and professional growth
What You'll Bring
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire
- Minimum one year of recent Emergency Department experience, or currently oriented and independently practicing within an Emergency Department
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage:
- Cardiac emergencies
- Complex medical-surgical patients
- Pediatric patients
- Multiple trauma patients
- Proven clinical competence in emergency nursing practice
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Department Certifications
The following certifications are required within the specified timeframes:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) within 6 months
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) within 6 months
- NIHSS (Stroke Scale Certification) within 6 months
- TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course) within 12 months
