RN – EMERGENCY - $5000 Sign on bonus

Overview

RN – Emergency role at Allakos Inc. This position offers sign-on bonuses for qualified full-time shifts: $5000 sign-on bonus for FT nights (2-year commitment) and $3000 sign-on bonus for FT days (2-year commitment).

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served.
• Promotes customer service initiatives and applies the mission of the organization in daily practice.
• Demonstrates consistency in ability to perform skills and procedures.
• Assumes individual accountability for nursing practice ensuring safe, efficient care delivered through the nursing process.
• Appropriately and accurately documents on the electronic medical record in a timely fashion.
• Actively demonstrates behaviors that support the Code of Ethics of Emergency Nursing.
• Promptly responds to call lights and patient/family requests.
• Performs EKG and phlebotomy.
• Promptly answers telephone.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Current licensure RN.
• Current BLS/ACLS/PALS certification (or obtain prior to the completion of orientation).
• CPI De-escalation training certification (obtain within 6 months).
• Basic computer skills.
• Shift: FT – Nights – 7p-7a; PT – Nights 7p-7a; FT - Days - 7a-7p.
