This is an Hourly position.Shift Differential: $4.00/hrWeekend Differential: $3.25/hrPosition Summary: The eICU center Registered Nurse is a member of a collaborative team who is responsible for providing continuous vigilance and tele-nursing to a diverse population of critically ill adults across multiple ICUs at various hospitals. Provides proactive, continuous monitoring, prevention, early intervention and ongoing care with the goal of decreasing ICU related morbidity and mortality. Utilizes evidenced based care and clinical decision support to guide practice.
Acts as a patient advocate and resource to inpatient nursing staff.Required Qualifications:Education: Hight School/GEDExperience: Three years of recent experience as a staff nurse in adult critical care. One to two years of past experience in a role which required effective communication and collaboration with medical/health care professionalsLicensure/Certification: Current BLS Certification. Current ACLS Provider Certification or completion within 90 days of hireOther Skills/Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
Proficiency with Windows based computer applicationsStrong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.Preferred Qualifications:Education: Bachelors Degree in NursingExperience: Five years of recent experience as a staff nurse in the specialty field of adult critical careLicensure/Certification: Current CCRN or CCRNe certificationOSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
