Responsibilities & Requirements
- The RN Critical Care Transport provides specialized nursing care for critically ill patients, performing comprehensive assessments, monitoring patient status, and implementing evidence-based interventions in a high-acuity environment.
- This role collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to support optimal patient outcomes, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- All job responsibilities are to be carried out in alignment with Kettering Health's mission, vision, values, and B Safe program.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing).
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience in an acute care or critical care setting.
- Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Experience in a critical care or intensive care unit (ICU) setting.
- Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
