The RN in the Critical Care Stepdown Unit at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital is responsible for interpreting medical care plans, assessing patients, and providing individualized nursing care in a safe and competent manner. What You'll Do
- Maintain accurate, detailed reports, and records.
- Administer medications to patients and monitor for reactions or side effects.
- Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
- Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
- Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
- Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions.
Requirements
- Education:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
- Experience:
- Clinical nursing experience 0-1 year required
- Licenses & Certifications:
- Current RN License in New Hampshire required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
- Neonatal Resuscitation Certification (NRP) preferred
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification (PALS) preferred
