RN Coordinator ED Flow Throughput

The Emergency Department Throughput Registered Nurse Coordinator supports safe, timely movement of patients through the ED. This role coordinates triage, EMS handoffs, patient placement, and transfers while aligning staffing with volume and acuity. The RN provides clinical guidance, escalation support, and direct patient care when needed, collaborating with physicians and care teams to reduce delays, support safety and quality initiatives, and improve the overall patient and staff experience.
