- Provides consultation and maintains positive relationships with physicians and other inter-professional team members, collaborating to problem solve and improve patient care.
- Collaborates on department/clinic schedules, monitors staffing levels, and provides input to the budget preparation/monitoring and the identification of workload variability to predict and plan for appropriate staffing to enhance productivity/efficiency and maintain quality care.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or commitment to obtain BSN within five years for current ThedaCare RNs
- Current Wisconsin RN license
- American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Three years of clinical experience
- Two years of experience leading projects, a council/committee, and/or clinical improvement work.
- Look to promote to manager within 9 months
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to move freely (standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing, and pulling) and lift up to a maximum of Fifty (50) pounds without assistance
- Job classification is exposed to blood borne pathogens (blood or bodily fluids) while performing job duties.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Frequent exposure to sharp objects and instruments
