Nature of Duties
Provide patient care in support of cardiovascular physicians, performing various Registered Nurse duties. Must have cardiology knowledge or a willingness to learn and expand expertise in cardiovascular care.
Specific Duties
- Triage patients, document vital signs, and communicate with physicians.
- Assist with exams, orders, injections, and patient education.
- Maintain accurate electronic records and handle phone calls.
- Perform blood work, assist with Coumadin clinics, and pacemaker duties.
- Assist with insurance pre-certifications, supply ordering, and clinic checks.
- Help staff other clinics and perform additional duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Current IL RN license
- 1-2 years cardiology experience preferred or willingness to learn
- BLS certification
- Complete EKG and cardiology courses within 12 months
- Strong communication skills and cardiology knowledge
Compensation
Pay starting at $34.37.
