RN Opportunities at Trinity Elms Health & RehabTrinity Elms is hiring Registered Nurses for part-time and full-time roles. Part-time starts at 20+ hours/week, full-time at 30+ hours/week, with benefits available at 20+ hours/week.Starting pay: $38/hour, based on experience.$10,000 sign-on bonus, paid in increments.Flexible 8- and 12-hour scheduling options.Daily Pay available before regular payday.Benefits begin after 30 days and include insurance, PTO, and a free health insurance premium option.Additional pay:2nd shift: +$3.00/hour.3rd shift: +$2.00/hour.Weekend shifts: +$4.00/hour.Pay in lieu of benefits: +$2.00/hour.The Staff Nurse provides resident care under the direction of physicians, the Director of Nursing Services, and the facility Medical Director, with a focus on treatments, medication administration, and individualized care plans that meet medical, state, and LSC requirements.Medication Administration and Documentation:Prepare, administer, and document medications safely using the six rights.Administer oral, IM, subcutaneous, G-tube, and applicable IV medications/fluids.Document care, orders, notes, and medication administration in the electronic medical record.Follow LSC procedures for medication receipt, storage, labeling, reordering, returns, and controlled medication accuracy.Maintain secure drug rooms/carts and proper storage of drugs and biologicals.Resident Care and Clinical Support:Report resident condition changes, suspected abuse, or crimes promptly.Follow care plans and participate in care planning as needed.Provide skin care, dressing changes, ostomy and catheter care, Foley insertion/removal, and tube feedings.Use equipment such as glucometers, PT/INR machines, and bladder scanners as applicable.Provide respiratory services, including oxygen, O2 monitoring, and nebulizer treatments.Assist with admissions, discharges, and resident-directed care choices.Safety, Reporting, and Communication:Follow LSC procedures for reporting medication errors, incidents, accidents, exposures, and near misses.Notify supervisors, physicians, and resident representatives of changes in orders or condition.Make rounds, give shift reports, and round with physicians as assigned.Practice infection control, safe equipment use, lift safety, and emergency procedures.Professional Standards:Participate in required education and in-service training.Reflect LSC's mission, values, and customer service standards.Perform other duties as assigned.Supervisory Responsibilities:Oversees CNAs, restorative nursing assistants, and medication aides, including coaching and training as allowed under the Nurse Practice Act.Qualifications:Candidates should meet the following requirements.Education and Licensure:Nursing degree from an accredited college/university or approved RN program.Current North Carolina RN license.CPR certification or ability to become certified.Experience and Skills:No prior experience required.Communicates tactfully with residents, families, peers, and others while maintaining confidentiality.Computer skills preferred; must be willing and able to learn electronic documentation.Preferred Qualifications:Two years of LPN or RN experience preferred.Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:Push, pull, and lift up to 35 pounds; occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.Stand/walk for extended periods while transporting objects.Bend, squat, or reach as needed.Assist with repositioning and transfers using safe lifting procedures.Move throughout the facility as needed.Why Join Trinity Elms?Join Trinity Elms through Lutheran Services Carolinas and help serve residents as part of a dedicated team.
