Registered Nurse (RN) – Supervisor & Charge NurseAaron Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking experienced and dedicated Registered Nurses (RN) to fill Supervisor and Charge Nurse roles on our care team. In these positions, you will provide clinical leadership, oversee daily nursing operations, and ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centered care to our residents in a long-term care and rehabilitation setting.RN Supervisor – Key Responsibilities:Oversee all nursing staff and operations across the unit or facility during assigned shiftEnsure compliance with state and federal long-term care regulations and facility policiesSupervise RNs, LPNs, and CNAs; provide clinical guidance and performance oversightRespond to and manage clinical emergencies; serve as the on-shift clinical decision-makerCollaborate with the Director of Nursing (DON) on staffing, quality improvement, and care initiativesConduct or oversee resident assessments, care plan reviews, and interdisciplinary team meetingsManage incident reporting, grievance documentation, and family communications as neededEnsure accurate and timely completion of clinical documentation and medical recordsSupport onboarding, mentoring, and ongoing education of nursing staffServe as a resource for complex clinical situations and escalating concernsRN Charge Nurse – Key Responsibilities:Oversee nursing care delivery on an assigned unit during the scheduled shiftAdminister medications, IV therapies, and treatments per physician orders and facility protocolsConduct resident assessments and monitor for changes in condition; escalate to supervisor as neededDirect and delegate tasks to LPNs and CNAs; provide real-time clinical supportCoordinate physician communications, orders, and follow-through on the unitAssist with admissions, discharges, and transfers including required clinical documentationPerform skilled nursing procedures including wound care, catheter care, tube feedings, and moreEnsure accurate, thorough, and timely documentation in the electronic health recordParticipate in care conferences, quality improvement efforts, and regulatory compliance activitiesPromote a safe, respectful, and team-oriented environment for staff and residentsQualifications & Requirements:Active Connecticut RN license in good standing (required)Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program (BSN preferred)Long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation experience required for Supervisor role; preferred for Charge NursePrior supervisory or charge experience preferred for RN Supervisor roleCPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and leadership skillsExcellent communication, organizational, and team management abilitiesExperience with electronic health records (EHR) preferredAbility to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periodsWhat We Offer:Competitive experience-based pay: up to $54.00/hr for RN Supervisor, up to $44.00/hr for RN Charge NursePer diem opportunities availableHealth, dental, and vision insurance optionsPaid time off and holiday payContinuing education and career advancement opportunitiesSupportive, team-centered work environment
