Role Overview:

Provides leadership and coordination of nursing staff in a clinical setting, ensuring quality patient care and adherence to objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assigns, directs, educates, and monitors staff during shifts, including performance evaluations.
  • Assesses patient care needs and develops appropriate care assignments.
  • Collaborates with advanced practice providers to optimize outcomes.
  • Evaluates patient care effectiveness and addresses issues impacting outcomes.
  • Responds to patient care complaints and manages them via established channels.
  • Contributes to hiring, training, and staff development.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Graduate of accredited nursing program or equivalent licensing.
  • Minimum of one year registered nurse experience.
  • Strong communication skills, physical stamina, and attention to safety protocols.
  • Licenses and certifications including BLS, ACLS or PALS, and state‑specific RN licensure.

Physical & Certification Requirements:

Constant speech, standing, walking, and frequent lifting; occasional patient handling and driving. Certifications vary by state but generally include BLS, ACLS/PALS, and state RN licensure.
