Overview

Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

23 HOUR STAY, MONDAY - THURSDAY ONLY

Mercy Center for Performance Medicine

Out-patient surgery offers state of the art care to patients in need of surgical care. The center consists of 10 operating rooms, 2 minor procedure rooms and 1 cysto suite, making it one of the largest surgery centers in the United States. Equipped with the latest and greatest technology.

Surgery specialties include orthopedics, urology, plastics, neuro and general surgery.

Along with the operating room, the surgery center includes its own pre/post area, PACU, 23-hour stay area, SPD and supply chain.

Caregivers at CPM have the luxury of no weekends, no holidays and no call.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1 year of RN experience in Pre/Post, ICU, or Tele
• Required Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited school
• Preferred Education: BSN
• License: current RN license in our state
• Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association
