What You'll Do
- Provide general and specialized direct and indirect patient care.
- Perform accurate and complete admission assessments.
- Assess and document patient's pain levels utilizing appropriate protocols.
- Prioritize and document patient problems based on assessed needs.
- Monitor and document patient's condition and effectiveness of care.
- Evaluate, update, and revise plan of care to achieve outcomes.
- Delegate components of the nursing care plan to other nursing team members.
- Plan delivery of patient care in collaboration with other disciplines.
Requirements
- Education:
- Completion of a recognized course of study from an accredited School of Nursing (Diploma, ADN, or BSN program)
- Experience:
- 2 years of recent experience in acute care areas utilizing telemetry monitoring
- Licences & Certifications:
- Current state licensure as Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- NIH Stroke Scale certification within the last year preferred
