Job Opportunity
Position: Cath Lab Registered Nurse
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated Registered Nurse to join a dynamic Cardiovascular team in our Cath Lab. The ideal candidate will have experience in both interventional radiology and cardiac procedures.
Shift Details:
- Type: Day shift
- Schedule: 4x10 hours (06:30 AM - 05:00 PM)
- On-Call Requirement: 7 days per month, including 1 weekend call per month (Friday - Sunday PM) and 1 day during the week
- Registered Nurse (RN) with at least 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology unit.
- Experience in a healthcare facility with a minimum of 250 beds is preferred.
- Sedation skills required.
- EPIC charting experience preferred: Must have if applying as an IR RN; highly preferred for Cath Lab RNs.
- Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, CCI RCES or CCI RCIS, NIHSS.
- Must have valid state nursing license.
- No pending licenses accepted.
- Ability to monitor and administer sedation safely.
- Experience with various procedures, including:
- Endovascular Interventions
- Cardiac Stent Placement
- PICC Line placement and maintenance
- Cardioversion
- Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- Post-procedural care and patient education
- Strong team collaboration skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Type of Facility: Acute Care Hospital, MAGNET recognized facility.
- Total Staffed Beds: 426.
- Patient Age Groups: Adults and Geriatrics.
- Daily Census: 2 IR / 4 Cath Lab.
- Free parking available for staff.
