Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN)
We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join our team. This position requires dedication and expertise in providing exceptional patient care within a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs during procedures.
- Administer sedation and support procedures in the catheterization lab.
- Prepare and maintain equipment for procedures.
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record (EPIC).
- Participate in patient education and provide information regarding post-procedure care.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards within the lab.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology (IR) setting, preferably in a 250-bed or larger facility.
- Experience in EPIC electronic health record system is preferred.
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, CCI RCES or CCI RCIS, NIHSS.
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
- Must be available for call: 7 days per month, including weekend availability.
Work Schedule:
This position offers shifts any day Monday through Friday, with weekend call responsibilities as specified.
