Description:This is a 13-week contract position for an RN in the Cardiac Cath Lab.The shifts are 8 hours long, from 07:00 to 15:30, Monday through Friday.Call requirements include rotation and weekend availability.The unit consists of 3 cardiac cath labs, 1 electrophysiology lab, and 1 hybrid lab.Staffing includes 1 charge RN, 3 clinical RNs, and 3 cardiovascular technologists.The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:1.Types of equipment used include EMR Meditech.Typical procedures performed on the unit include cardiac diagnostics, PCI, Impella, peripheral vascular angiogram/angioplasty, and electrophysiology studies.Candidates should possess the necessary skills to be considered for this role.A dress code of royal blue scrubs is required.The unit values professionalism and teamwork.The environment offers opportunities for growth and exposure to advanced technology.Candidates with prior cath lab experience will be prioritized for selection.
